"Ignore the Noise!"

"Ignore the Noise!"

Let’s ignore the noise this week!  When I say,"Ignore the Noise" I mean the devil, who is your main adversary and those other adversaries, the people or negative influences in life.

Yesterday, I came face to face with a 'roaring lion' and it tried to take me off my path for a moment, but I stayed the course and ignored his roar by keeping my thoughts positive.

The devil tried me in the midst of a difficult conversation with two individuals. But from the words of Joel Osteen, "The enemy is a liar and thinks it's his territory, so start ignoring the roar!" I did and you can too!

The following is a synopsis of my takeaways from Osteen's Sunday sermon. Read it and be highly encouraged in your pursuit of "Ignoring the Noise!"

"The roar is a sign that you are moving toward what God promised.

You must believe and get in agreement with God, not fear and doubt

What God put in your spirit belongs to you

You have to get in alignment with what's
in your heart.

Start speaking the victory!

Declare, "My latter days will be better than my former days!"

You can't let the roar keep you from your promise.

Find people that are in alignment in agreement with you and not the roar.

You are drawing in whats happening speak victory not fear.

Prophesize victory not fear or doubt."

Blessings for the Week!

A Question to Ponder This Week is:

What steps will you put in place this week to 'Ignore the Noise'?

Weekly Bible Verses

1Peter 5:8

  • Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour.

Psalms 91: 11-12

11For he will command his angels concerning you to guard you in all your ways; 12they will lift you up in their hands, so that you will not strike your foot against a stone.

This Week's Call to Action!

1. Start speaking the victory with a daily affirmation ( Pick one or more that will guide you through each day this week)

2. Seek out a person in your circle that is in alignment, with you and not the roar.

3. Get a journal to start documenting your journey from fear and doubt to triumph and victory
( I began my journal writing in January 2020, before the pandemic started).

*Next week I will share a tip to help you get started with journaling your thoughts.
